I am the kind of girl who cannot seem to leave the house without a bit of eyeliner on, it makes my face look so naked without it. Now, don't get me wrong, going to the gym or popping to shop I don't always apply it, but I don't always put it on full stop when I go to those places. However, when I am wearing make up, eyeliner is a staple. When I read blogs or watch youtube, I tend to see a lot of people wearing gel or liquid liners (which are both fabulous) but I don't often see people using or talking about pen style eyeliners which really surprises me. A lot like a felt tip pen, they are great for control and creating flicks, which makes matching both eyes, which I know can be tricky for some people, a complete dream. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned eye liner user, I would highly recommend this style of eye liner. It is so quick and easy to use, perfect for any situation.
What's your favourite type of eyeliner?

I have tried the soap and glory pen eyeliner and don't find it that easy to create the perfect flick. Do you have any suggestions of other pen liners or tips on how to apply? x

I personally quite like Revlon or Loreal (but not their super thin one). I think like with anything, practice makes perfect, so the more you use it, the more comfortable you'll become. My main tip is to try and create the shape in one go, then fill it in. I feel like I can't explain very well how I do my flicks (I have typed and deleted sooo many times) but I would really try and use your eye as a guide and make a small flick, then you can extend it, depending on how you like it. Plus, making full use of the nib when making the shape, not just the tip. I know that still doesn't sound very helpful, it would be so much easier to show you!
DeleteI'd definitely buy another and give it another go, it may just be the S&G one you don't like! But, if you don't want to spend too much, Collection do a great one too!

Yeah, you definitely should!

I love pens, but my favorite eyeliner ever is actually a brush wand. It's sooo fine, great for my hooded eyes. It's the Liner Pinceau by Bourjois x
ReplyDeleteOooh that sounds lovely!
